MEET THE TEAM
MEET katherine.
Katherine is the owner and founder of The Paw Smith and has been looking after many wonderful pets in the Oxfordshire area since 2015. Katherine has extensive experience looking after lots of animals including dogs, cats, horses and farm animals such as chickens and goats.
Growing up, she was fortunate to have parents who encouraged her to have her own pets, learn to ride and join Young Farmers’ Club. She has spent the last 8 years looking after people’s pets, whether that be house sitting, dog walking or doing pet visits.

MEET SOPHIE.
Sophie has grown up with dogs her whole life and also has horses. She loves all animals and treats every single one as her own.
Sophie loves the outdoors and wanted to escape the 9-5 office life, so joined The Paw Smith in March 2023. She gets stuck in with all aspects of the job, including dog walking, pet visits, equine care and house sitting. She is based in Didcot and covers this area as well as the surrounding villages.
Sophie is also fully insured, DBS checked and Canine First Aid trained.
MEET Clare.
Clare joined The Paw Smith in January of 2024. She has her own gorgeous Cockapoo called Bertie and loves being in the great outdoors with canine company!
Leaving her job of 8 years as a chocolatier, Clare was looking for a job that incorporated her love for animals and the outdoors as well as giving her a bit more of a flexible lifestyle. Since starting, she has had nothing but positive feedback from all of our clients. Clare offers dog walking, pet visits and house sitting in the Oxford area and surrounding villages.
Clare is fully insured, DBS checked and Canine First Aid trained.
